Automated access beyond normal browser-based interaction — including direct API calls, headless browsers, or scripts — is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from OneScholar.
The OneScholar platform, including its source code, design, curation logic, ranking systems, saved views, user interface, and original written content, is the intellectual property of OneScholar and is protected by copyright law.
Underlying academic paper metadata (titles, authors, abstracts, DOIs) is sourced from third-party providers including OpenAlex, arXiv, and Crossref under their respective licenses. OneScholar does not claim ownership of this underlying metadata.
What is original and proprietary to OneScholar includes: the selection and curation of journals and sources, the discovery and filtering methodology, the scoring and ranking logic, the user interface, and the saved views configuration.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. OneScholar does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content on the Service. Academic metadata is sourced from third parties and may contain errors or omissions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, OneScholar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any reliance on content displayed on the Service.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
